  1. Are we not going to talk about how he doesn’t actually prove anything? He just states that it’s an American invention and then does absolutely nothing to try and prove it.

  2. If the pride of bitcoin having American origins is going to lead the US government adopting bitcoin, then it is all good. They can believe what they want. Bitcoin is for everyone.
Would be nice if the US made it legal tender.

  3. The only thing that would make it better is that if it was an immigrant living in the US. lol, but seriously, it should hardly matter where it was invented or who Satoshi really is. The point is, it’s a brilliant invention that is available to everyone on the planet. A borderless medium of exchange that doesn’t care who you are or where you live.

  4. Who cares? The whole point is that the invention stands on its own merits. We don’t need to know who invented it or what country they were from. That’s completely irrelevant to its utility.

If Satoshi wanted anyone to claim credit, they would not have stayed anonymous.

I’ve got $5k worth of BTC, I don’t mind spending $150 x 2 on multiple cold wallets. Should I be splitting up my BTC into multiple cold storage solutions for safety if one wallet gets hacked?
