DIY spector hardware wallet

[ad_1]

For a project that doesn’t seem like it’s that new, I’m having a hard time finding any reviews on it, especially regarding how it works.

Can you use it like a multisig wallet in the same way that seedsigner works? Specifically I mean by scanning all of the QR codes into the device before signing?

Does any hw wallet allow you to use a QR code to import the passphrase? I’m envisioning having a small stack of cards to make if difficult to determine which ones are the actual wallet cards and then the passphrase one mixed in with that pile or hidden separately. My idea is that physical access would be needed to get all of the pieces for access, yet it wouldn’t be too cumbersome for me to access my wallet.

Tia!

  1. Yes, download the Specter software, their software allows you most hardware wallets.

Seedsigner is based off Specter’s DIY wallet, although specter uses bip 39 words. You’ll use qr for airgapped signing.

All their info is on github.

Search for Stepan Signev if you want more info, he created it.
